The company is exploring for nickel deposits on its Langmuir property near Timmins, Ontario; for nickel-gold-copper on its Cleaver and Douglas properties; and for molybdenum and rare earth elements at recently acquired Desrosiers property.
Nickel I like to look at buying and selling by the month, as that indicates trending and of course market or investor sentiment. Your way shows exactly as you say. a simple +/- net total which is far less informative wrt PULSE.
Recall that the month of June was an interesting one, where we saw about 1.5 to 2 million shares suddenly trade and the SP rally from a 5 month groove or base of .50-.60 to .96
So not even looking at or talking about the who's who's of which house jumped in or out, something was definitely in the air. Since then, after no news or followup to support the moves, the stock has eroded and now sits back in it's groove/rut. A rumour that got out of hand? A development? A met study? who knows?
In those three months since all we have had for food or fuel is a Sedar rooted MD&A (that speaks of June 30 ending)that is helpful for those seeking info on company events and progress. But, it's exactly that, a deeply buried hard to find read in which it is up to the investor to uncover and read. A great example of that behavior is the way we all got to find out about Desrosiers being acquired. Sure there are those who will squawk, "do we really need spoonfedding?" Well I would have to say yes!. it seems to be the way that many other companies on the TSX do IR and PR. Dissemination is what it is all about.
ISM's lack of updates in the form of news releases or a company update is hurting this SP. The lack of PR/IR/Promotion/Updated Website do nothing for the SP either. As I said earlier the company was great at releasing drill results. Anything else was like pulling teeth. Do they answer the phone? Do they answer emails? Do they travel the world doing promotion? Do they tell the ISM story to retail? to Institutional? Are we known on Baystreet or only at PDAC?
Not sure what the company focus or priority is at the moment is but we do know that the future we all seek to get a peek at lies in the hands of Micon right now. The group running ISM has the last filings out of their hair and off the to do list. The drilling at Langmuir should have subsided except for whatever Micon may be asking for as additional to "expand the resource" So that too is wound down. What's on the company agenda while they as well as us all wait for Micon to deliver the goods?
Are they drilling? Where? How many rigs? Gold approaching $1,000 an ounce, why not blow some money on Barton? REE now the flavour of the month, why not expound onthe REE potentials of Desrosiers?
Why not get an update out? Even if its a rehash of the last MD&A or the lastest perfromance summary? Heck how can that hurt? At least it's out there for all to see. How's the leadership enticing and stimulating new investment let alone keeping present investors invested?
As for holding the Met study in their mitts and close to their chest, despite it being complete as of June 30th, we now know the plan is to package it with a completed 43-101. A release or disclosure that looks to be one great big package. It's effect could be either good or bad. We will not know until then as we get to read it.
In the meantime we float along in the wind, not really sure if we are crosslinked tot he price or nickel or the level the TSX, but we will definitley have the appearance of a rudderless ship if we do not start telling investors where we are at and if we are continuing to achieve and meet targets whatever they may be.
Are we capable? You can bet many are chewing on that one right now. Personal timelines and expectations are set. We go forward and see what pans out.
IMHO and cheers
