At its fullest development, massive sulphide mineralization up to 1.5 m thick (5% Ni) is overlain by up to 7 m of net-textured sulphides (2-4% Ni), followed by up to 13 m of disseminated sulphides containing 0.3-0.9% Ni. PGE (Os, Ir, Ru, Rh, Pt, Pd) concentrations in the massive sulphide mineralization are in the order of 133-3220 ppb. In the disseminated and net-textured mineralization, PGE (Os, Ir, Ru, Rh, Pt, Pd) concentrations range from 963 to 1956 ppb. Sulphide minerals (pyrrhotite and pyrite) comprise about 60% of the volume in the net-textured sulphide mineralization. (Green and Naldrett, 1981)

Previous operators milled 111,502 tons with an averaged grade of 1.74% Ni. (Atkinson, 2006)

Inspiration has drilled below the 315 foot mine level in 2 phases since late 2005 originally on 100 foot mine sections (phase 1) and then 50 foot mine sections (phase 2). Currently, Inspiration has only drilled the East Zone and it appears to be open at depth and along strike.
