Whaler, it would appear there is a third option... they might never provide an update to their shareholders. =:-O
I have only ever asked IR a question once, and they never responded. But I have read about many requests from others not receiving a response.
I don't understand. IMHO, the way the company is treating its shareholders is pathetic. They could at least return some emails and write a NR every so often.
I don't like to see companies that are constantly promoting themselves. But I do expect companies to provide a reasonable amount of investor relations, and I think they have a responsibility to answer questions from shareholders, except of course where they would be prohibitted from doing so. I also think that not providing information fosters unease which depresses stock prices.
Maybe ISM wants to keep the SP down to make buying shares back less expensive....
