Inspiration Mining Corporation: Shareholder Meeting Postponed

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 7, 2008) - Inspiration Mining Corporation (the "Corporation") (TSX:ISM)(FRANKFURT:OI8)announces that further to its press release dated January 3, 2008, the Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders scheduled for Monday, January 14, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. (Toronto time) will not be proceeding as the Corporation has learned that certain shareholders resident in the United States of America and Europe have not received notice of the meeting as the service provider responsible for mailing the materials to the shareholders has not done so.

The meeting will be held at a later date to be determined by the board of directors. Shareholders will be provided with an updated notice of meeting and information circular at such time.
