http://www.kitco.com/pr/2074/article... "Easier to read at the link above" April 8 2009 - Vancouver, British Columbia. IMPACT Silver Corp. (“IMPACT” IPT – TSX.V) is pleased to announce drill results from an ongoing grid drilling program on the Noche Buena Vein, located four kilometers southwest of IMPACT’s processing plant and mining operations in the prolific Royal Mines of Zacualpan Silver and Gold District in Mexico. Exploration on this northwesterly trending, west dipping Silver-Gold vein consists of drill holes spaced on a 50 meter horizontal and vertical drilling pattern designed to systematically explore and build tonnage. Results of the latest drill holes are summarized below. NOCHE BUENA VEIN - DRILL HOLES DRILL HOLE FROM (meters) TO (meters) INTERSECTI ON (meters) SILVER (g/t) GOLD (g/t) SECTION 1100N Z09-06 134.32 135.62 1.30 332 0.67 Including 134.32 134.72 0.40 872 1.20 Z09-05 116.08 118.73 2.65 132 0.61 SECTION 1150N Z08-70* 21.80 30.35 8.55 204 0.24 Z08-71* 108.30 112.63 4.33 233 0.70 Z09-10 119.85 121.86 2.01 167 0.38 SECTION 1200N Z09-72 117.57 119.49 1.92 116.46 0.49 SECTION 1250N Z09-12 51.98 56.52 4.54 280 1.89 Including 54.54 54.81 0.27 3,600 15.50 * Holes Z08-70 and -71 were previously announced in a news release dated January 26, 2009. Hole Z09-12 is particularly encouraging as both the thickness and grade have increased in this northernmost hole. The enhanced gold values and appearance of the mineralization suggest the possibility of a mineralizing centre located to the north of these holes, where drilling is currently under way. During the drilling of the Noche Buena Vein, a sub-parallel structure that dips at 70 degrees to the east named Del Pulpo Vein was discovered. It is exposed in a short exploration adit, located about 100 meters to the southeast of Hole Z09-05. The intersection in Z09-05 is interpreted to be 2.06 meters. Lower grade intersections of the Del Pulpo Vein were encountered along strike to the north. DEL PULPO VEIN - DRILL HOLES DRILL HOLE FROM (meters) TO (meters) INTERSECTION (meters) SILVER (g/t) GOLD (g/t) SECTION 1100N Z09-05 156.34 161.22 4.88 560 0.76 Including 158.40 159.67 1.27 1355 1.95 In summary, the Noche Buena Vein and associated veins have been the subject of historical mining and exploration efforts in which silver-gold-bearing quartz veins have been encountered intermittently over one kilometer strike length. It is the intent of the ongoing drill program to continue exploration in a systematic manner in order to determine vein continuity, thickness and grade to build mineral inventory as well as discover new veins.
