Hi Swilson!
I had a fantastic 2006 and was able to retire very early as a result. However, I do not consider myself wealthy, and most of my neighbours have no idea that I am retired. Many of them think I am just unemployed, lol. I still drive a 2000 model year station wagon, and live a very modest lifestyle, with the exception that I travel every month and do not worry about money anymore.
I still have nearly every penny invested in the juniors, and many of my holdings are well below where they were when I retired. If I get one more big year when everything I own doubles or triples (and I think that will happen again in this sector), then I will take some money off the table and lock in a bit more financial security. Maybe even buy a new car!
IPT is my 2nd largest holding, and all of the top-5 holdings in my PF are also Mexico juniors.
cheers!
mike
