LNG ultimatum (see Province Newspaper page 9) March 9, 2016
Ultimatum to the Trudeau government, was dismissed as "false" by Michael Culbert, the president of Pacific NorthWet LNG. Rich Coleman, the minister responsible for LNG, also said Mondy that it was "business as usual" for the proponent. Petronas says they did not say that. Clark says " they are very satisfied with the way the federal government is going on this......So, I think...perhaps the report is incorrect" Last June, Pacific NorthWest LNG announced a final investment decision subject to two conditions. The last of these is a favourable regulatory decision from the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency. That process is ongoing.
