Hathor Update - Depth Slices of Uranium Mineralization at Roughrider Zone
Please follow the link below to view a series of level (horizontal) plans, each +/- 10 metres in depth, illustrates the spatial and grade variation of uranium mineralization intersected in diamond drill holes from the Roughrider Zone as reported to date (March 19, 2009). Of particular note are:
· Uranium mineralization occurs at depths of 200 to 300 metres vertically below surface;
· At the Roughrider Zone vertical depth to the unconformity ranges from 200-215m;
· Uranium mineralization occurs over a northeast-southwest strike length of approximately 120 metres;
· Multiple zones of uranium mineralization are present;
· The highest grade zone (up to 70.7% U3O8) trends northeast-southwest;
· Uranium mineralization dips to the northwest;
· The potential for sandstone-hosted mineralization (where the mineralized structures intersect the unconformity) is greatest in the southeast of the Roughrider Zone and this area will be tested during the current Winter-09 program;
· The mineralization is still open to the northeast and the southwest, which will be drill tested during the Winter-09 program.
There are three versions of the map available: a high quality PDF, a PowerPoint and a QuickTime video:
