WHY DIDNT THE STOCK GO UP??

I bot this stock on the 16th of may at 2.60. It is now the 26th of may and it is up .80 cents. That is a terrible return on my money. My GIC went up a dollar in that time. Oh yeah I forgot my GIC is for 100000 bucks.
