As you know, we recently changed from a resource company to a technology company, and this is the first time producing an AIF document--as a technology company.
An AIF is a specific public document a company publishes if it wants to have the option of raising funds through either a prospectus or the right offering.
That said, we fully expected that there would be some back and forth between the regulators and the company before everything is aligned.
To answer your question on language choice, Canada is a bilingual country.
HPQ Silicon and its primary provincial regulator are both located in Quebec, a French-speaking province in Canada. So, we were obligated to produce the document in French, which is the native language of company management.
