Although remnants of the pandemic caused supply chain issues and ensuing inflation that impacted economies and financial markets locally and globally, 2022 has been a year of firsts and milestones for HPQ Silicon.

 

The market potential for our silicon material and clean manufacturing process continues to gain momentum.

 

Throughout the year, Canadian and U.S. governments invested in strategic areas of their economies, all aimed at onshoring manufacturing. With this, coupled with regional green and security-focused policies, will come the need for greater resiliency, agility, and sustainability in manufacturing.

 

That's why I see a strong need for the ESG-compliant silicon that our proprietary technology will produce.

 

This year, we took the time to strengthen our position by transitioning from a mining resource company to a Tier 1 Technology company. We reached important milestones, including successfully producing silicon material with our GEN3 PUREVAP™ QRR pilot plant during the first test. We also entered a unique strategic partnership with Novacium, expanding our global footprint into Europe and innovation and R&D capabilities.

 

Reflecting on the past year, I want to acknowledge those who've supported us. Thank you for your support and partnership.
