Message: Nano One - possible synergy or market?

Hi Bernard,

You're very aware of all the players in the Battery-verse, so I'm pretty sure you know about this Cathode manufacturing company in Burnaby, BC, called Nano One.

They came out with this news release today : https://ca.finance.yahoo.com/news/nano-one-johnson-matthey-enter-060500320.html

While they're making a nickel centric monocrystalline cathode (unlike Tesla which is focussing on a polycrystalline structure) what I find interesting is that they're using Ni powders and I'm guessing the Ni powder would be more effective if it was nano scale - a NiNano, or NanoNi :-).

The question is : is it possible to use the QRR to make NanoNi, or if not the QRR then some kind of Pyro plasma process?

And is there a possibe synergy here that could benefit all three companies?

Brgds,

A-G
