I agree with you, as well as with those who have replied to you.

It personally drives me crazy when I hear Bernard pronounce "Silicon" like "Silicone".  I have a deep wish for him to pronounce it properly.  As you say, it's misleading.  And I honestly hope that your suggestion will be brought to his attention.  In fact, you could send him a private message or an email.

On the other hand, Bernard does a dynamite job at expressing himself in English.  It's a challenge that I'm intimately familiar with, having had to switch from French to English school at the beginning of my seventh grade.

So I'm straddling the fence on this one.  And I know your post was coming from a good place, and not meant to denigrade Bernard in any way.
