With both companies to equaly benefit from the future success of this new process to make silicon nano powders, it is an incentive to PYR and HPQ to dedicate all their available resources to making this a game changing success.  With billions of dollars to be had, sharing the wealth is paramount.  This new colaboration will ensure that no outsider can come in and takeover this new company HPQ-nano without a fight and lots of money.  In my thinking it also makes HPQ more valuable because the new company has the IP and the technical support to make it successful.
