You are right (again) sentiment is muted (at best). I suppose that we have all been "taken down" too many times before. I. for one, an almost afraid to get too excited.

Personally, I am in this until the "blow-off." Even though the price of gold and silver (and their accompanying shares) can stay "crazy-low" for a long, long, long time, eventually reality has to take over. And a mania will follow soon after the realization of the truth.

Look at today (09/08-10:30 EDT), GPR up over 40%. Looks like people are catching on.
