Mr. Charles Chebry reports

CEDAR MOUNTAIN APPOINTS DR. ADRIENNE ROSS AS VP EXPLORATION

Cedar Mountain Exploration Inc. has appointed Dr. Adrienne Ross as vice-president, exploration, subject to regulatory approval.

Dr. Ross has over 15 years of experience in the mineral industry, and brings to this position a combined exploration, mining and research perspective.

Dr. Ross has worked for both junior and major exploration companies in both Canada and Australia. Dr. Ross has also worked with the Geological Survey of Western Australia as a regional geoscientist.

Dr. Ross obtained her doctorate at the University of Western Australia for her thesis on the four-million-ounce Kanowna Belle gold deposit.

She was commended for ending a 10-year controversy on the origin of the deposit. Dr. Ross's personal interest is in the integration of business, geology and science to grassroots exploration and subsequent discovery.

Dr. Ross states: "The processes involved in forming world-class mineral deposits are unique but recognizable. Few of these regions in the world are underexplored with modern techniques. Zacatecas, Mexico, is one such region, and it is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I join the Cedar Mountain team.

The company's consolidated land portfolio has all the necessary hallmarks for a major discovery. I look forward to directing our exploration efforts towards this end."

Charles Chebry, president and chief executive officer, states: "Cedar Mountain welcomes Dr. Ross as an officer of the company. Her commitment to leading strong technical teams, and passion for company growth and discovery, will greatly enhance our exploration efforts in Mexico."

Cedar Mountain Exploration grants stock options

Cedar Mountain's board of directors has granted a total of 525,000 stock options under the company's stock option plan, subject to regulatory approval. The options are exercisable at a price of 15 cents per common share, subject to a four-month hold period, expire on Jan. 22, 2014, and vest immediately. Insiders of Cedar Mountain were allocated 300,000 stock options.
