Thanks Eric for sharing that link. It is interesting that a player like Iamgold has taken a liking to Columbia gold. It is still early but if this leads to a gold rush in Columbia, Gran Columbia Gold (properly named I must say if there is to be a gold rush in Columbia) will be rewarded for their early work.

I listened to the conference call today but need to listen to it again before posting about it. Some early thoughts though are that the biggest impedement to share price and company development is the negotiations with the artisan miners and the town people. This is a delicate problem that seemed to scare many of the analyst/interested parties who asked questions. I did really like how Serafino Lacono took control of that conversation and spoke assertively about where they are going with this. He is the

(Co-Chairman and Executive Director) co-founder of Pacific Rubiales Energy.

He is also co-chairman and director of GCM and has been buying shares of GCM in the open market and now owns over 5M shares and 1M silver-linked notes. He obviously believes this will get done and we should have a good idea by the end of March.
