Hi gwr1 et. al.
First, let me remind everyone. I've been a shareholder of this company for the last fifteen years, so my ultimate goal is to see it prosper.
Just want to remind everyone of how the hierarchy within any company generally works.
The Board of Directors (which is usually voted in by shareholders) is supposed to provide direction and vision of how the company meets its directives.
They are responsible for the hiring of those who make sure that the direction and vision of their leadership is followed.
In other words, the CEO, the CFO, the COO, etc, all serve at the pleasure of the board.
In the case of "Golden", the board is still under the leadership from Mr? Clevenger, if I'm not mistaken.
"We live in interesting times"
Good Luck to all!
