I am a simple man, but to me it is obvious what causes debt! It is the inability to repay any monies borrowed including the interest added.

As I see it, do away with interest, which is just a transfer of wealth and not money earned anyway and you will eliminate debt altogether.

Who would loan something without a guaranteed return?
