would tell you that I am the least religious person they know, but I still follow Richard Russell and this guy, Michael Snyder.

Here's an interesting column even for non believers like me

Snippet:

"But for those that don’t want to believe that hard times are on the way, they can take comfort in the eerie period of calm that we are experiencing right now.

What they don’t realize is that this truly is “the calm before the storm”, and the global economic crisis that is ahead of us is going to be far beyond what most people ever dared to imagine was possible."

Comment:

America is rife with Religious people including some that jump on the Bible bandwagon just to secure votes.

I have some news for them.

It they want to see who is responsible for everything that goes on around them, look in the mirror!

Reminds me of a story that I heard many years ago.

A newly appointed Parrish priest was trying to raise money to repair the local church roof.

Everywhere he went, he asked for help.

One day he was walking along a country lane and happened to see a farmer working in his field.

He stopped, called him over and gave him his speil.

"You have a very prosperous farm. Your grain is full and bountifull. Your cattle are fat and healthy and even your vegetable garden is prospering. God has really blessed you, my son.

I hope you'll find it in your heart to share God's bounty with the others. I'm looking for a donation to help repair the church roof."

Silently the old farmer chewed some more on his blade of grass, deep in thought.

He then turned to the priest and smiled.

"I agree with you father. My grain is the best in the county and my cattle are the fattest for miles around.

We have a great garden that will provide my family through the hard winter ahead, but you should have seen how rundown this place was when I bought it."

"We live in interesting times"

Good Luck to all!
