"The biggest error in this article is the fact that Mr Rickards continues to act as if the U.S. actually holds the gold that they claim to have. I think it has been proven the gold is gone. The government will not allow audits of the gold holdings, WHY? I've been a big fan of Jim Rickards, but I must admit, with this article, he leaves so many questions unanswered, it makes me wonder whether he's on someone's payroll and is hell-bent on trying to deceive the real gold bugs.

Maybe there's a lot of truth to that old saying "Keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer".
