I lost ~$40 K in Golden Minerals...at the time I bought in (~$10) I naively figured that it if it had a good possibility of becoming a 10-bagger (per report** by a supposedly reputable investment bank (Dahlman and Rose which has since been acquired by Cowen Group) , then it had a reasonably good chance to become a 5-bagger, and was a shoe-in to become at least a 2-bagger under the worst-case/most pessimistic scenario .

I have since realized from following this and many other Junior Mining Exploration stories, that the more "outrageous" the initial forecasts, the more likely that the SP would/will perform to the downside as an inverse function (ie. the potential 10-bagger has had a 90% SP decline, the easy-double has seen it's SP halved) .

I am more interested in the stories which forecast a more reasonable SP double or triple over the next 24 to 36 month period.
