(This post will upset some but I have a suggestion - Get over it.)

Back at the turn of the millennium, I started paying close attention to what was happening in the financial and political world (I was always curious, but now I was not just curious, but downright concerned).

I had owned my own business since 1978 and had served as vice president of operations with a publicly traded company for over two years, so I felt very comfortable in my ability to analyse what was happening in the political and financial arenas

After doing my own Due Diligence, I came to several conclusions.

Most politicians couldn’t find their own a** with two hands.

People employed in the financial world, namely banksters, accountants, financial experts etc. add absolutely nothing to the value of life, imo.

Today’s Banksters have to be the worst managers of money. Where-else can you charge for financial services, increase the supply of monies at the stroke of a pen (or pressing of a button), lose money and get bailed out by taxpayers? (I guess that’s why they have no money management sense – after all, it’s not theirs to lose, unless they go bankrupt, and therefore they have no loyalty to those that use their services.

Accountants are a strange breed. Without taxes, I feel they would cease to exist (accountants are not book-keepers - most couldn’t set up a financial system if they tried). Instead their whole world is reliant on what has already happened. In a nutshell, they record history, and then try to predict the future. Lol.

And we have the Financial Experts. These guys are the cheerleaders; the sis-boom-bah boys of the financial world, each with their own field of expertise. Unfortunately, most of them are either wishful thinkers or trend-followers, not setters, and that is why everyone needs to do their own Due Diligence before getting involved in any future financial planning.
