While disgraceful, not so suprising. I'm actually somewhat surprised that the poorest half of people have an aggregate net worth above 0!

I first heard that report about 10 days ago on the radio, and there, the commentator mispoke and said that the richest 85 owned half the world's wealth, which I could not believe.

The other stat coming out of the same report, I think, and which is to me more meaningful, is that the richest 1% have as much as the other 99%. It's a problem, perhaps not the largest we face by any means, but still a problem.

No place to hide the last two trading days (other than bear positions, of course).
