I should also note that I have been buying other gold stocks and even some depressed Venture stocks in non-gold areas. This downturn has been deeper and greater than anything I ever anticipated but that's no reason not to be a contrarian buyer near market bottoms. It never ceases to amaze me that people are sellers when they should be buyers and of course vice versa, although I recognize selling is an art that few master, myself included.
