And as long as the people keep believing it, thinks will just get worse.

Had a talk to my wife this morning about whether it's best to understand what is happening and try to protect ourselves, or just be ignorant like the majority around us.

"Understanding" puts a lot of pressure on us and it seems we're always on the defensive, at least today.

"Ignorance" would allow us to go about our daily lives without even trying to plan for whats ahead.

Using a practical analogy;

Would you sooner face your executioner with or without a mask?

I'm kinda stubborn that way. I want to know whats going on, good or bad.

Like the old saying says

"The best defence is a good offence"

"We live in interesting times"
