Well, I am innocent enough to believe that what we are witnessing in the mining sector is extremely abnormal. Anything goes when it concerns getting hold of the best hard assets there are, particularly now that the fiat scheme is closing in on its end game. So these companies and their shareholders are targeted to taken them over/wipe them out. One of the ways to make existing shareholders sell and withdraw is to make them believe that their company is worthless. Share prices have gone to next to nothing during a bull market in the underlying metal. If that would happen to this company alone, i would follow your and Richard Russel's reasoning, but when it happens to an entire sector, I prefer to look for other reasons.
