Absolutely the worst thing you could do, now or in the future, is base your strategy on others advice, including "Uncle Jimmy" etc.

The only person who should influence your thinking is you.

Use their information by all means, but find out if they are right or wrong, or even if they partially correct before you make your own decision.

Example: As much as JS likes to use charts etc. nothing in today's markets and g&s in particular, can be based on anything that has previously happened.

Today the markets are in uncharted waters and no-one can predict the future from the past.

In simple terms, it all depends on you and what your head is telling you.
