Hi Cockeral:

That is a very intriguing video. One gets the impession that the 'audience' is merely paying homage to Mr. Hellyer out of respect to his reputation and character. Talk about 'cognitive dissonance! Now, whether or not the subject is worthy of deeper study, because one can get lost in such ethereal diversions ('claptrap' for the 'newer souls' but infintely magnetic for 'old souls').

I believe most old gold bugs here can graphically identify with the glazed eyes and polite silence of Mr. Hellyer's fellow attendees. Gold bugs (being a tiny minority) know what is real and what is fundamental with respect to gold and it's integrity, that it is a threat to the very existence of the ''other side', that it is inexorably and intimately tied to the fate of man's holisitic existence on this earth, that it even has 'other worldly', prophetic attributes. We know that the forces of evil absolutely know and respect the ultimate power of the ownership of gold ... and that for them, it represents total control. For that reaon alone they must attempt to make it appear otherwise. Jefferson and others long ago counseled that he who prints the currency has the power and that it should never be taken out of the hands of the people in a democracy. Today we in the western world are witnessing the unfolding consequences of such a disaster. But we here know that the real currency is gold and that fiat currency is merely a false diversion ... a paper curtain that is magnitudes of order more significant than the old iron curtain. For knowing that we have paid dearly.

For most, whether it be the suppression of gold or the presence of the unspeakable, evil capabitlites of the human brain, or the 'anti--soul' I guess, to is all too dangerous or too implausible to contemplate. It is frightening in it's scope and to say that most can't handle it would be more than obvious.

Some of us know exactly how Mr. Hellyer must feel today. His data and proof sources will have been dismissed offhand, just like the ones we may have espoused to others on gold for years now, with narry a one making the slightest effort to explore the possibilites therein. He will be ridiculed, politely shunned, disrespected, the brunt of private jokes, doubted by many maybe even family and relatives or maybe just considered a little 'senile' now. He is no longer 'of the crowd'. But he may be right. That takes courage.
