To all: I hope someone can guide me to direct register my shares. I expect to buy my last batch next week and then sit long. Have been in since 2003.

My wife and I have everthing transfered into two Scotia TFSA's. A few weeks ago I phoned the direct investing support and asked what the procedure was to direct register my shares. They spoke to a manager and said that I had to fill out a power of attorney form. I downloaded the form, but it is very confusing and did not seem right. I phoned back a while later and they said it cannot be done. I asked them to check with their manager and they confirmed saying that it cannot be done.

Anyone have any experience with direct registration of shares in Scotia iTrade TFSA?
