Celente is a very, very entertaining speaker and seems like a pretty sharp guy. And I understand, I think, where he is coming from. But one thing that seems to be internally inconsistent about his position is the following: he keeps telling us we need physical gold and silver, for the usual reasons, but then he reminds us of what the government did in the 20's or 30's - that they confiscated all the gold at $20, and revalued it to $35, and the implication is that the government could do something similar anytime. So, if you're in the US, and the government says "we want your gold," you can either hide it and risk prosecution, or turn it in, so then what? You end up with fiat or possibly in the slammer.
Can anyone explain?
