300,000+ increase in the 2-week period ending 2/28/13 is incredible. We can also assume that the total short position increased in the first full week of March when they drove the stock down to $2.16/sh., only to begin to bounce back this week.

The shorts are playing with fire at this level, especially if Sinclair's prediction that the near-2 year correction for gold/silver is over.

Of course, we know that the algo/HFT program disregards fundamentals (either internal or external) as pointed out by John Kaiser, so perhaps we should not be surprised that they continue to inflict pressure at this ridiculous level.
