I think that most of the retail investors were terminally hurt back in 2008. Since the 2008 bottom we haven't seen the same market like before. The capitulation attacks in the years 2004-2008 were much heavier than those right now, as they were directed towards retail investors. Now the cartel primarily targets the algo hedgefunds, so their strategy is much more that of triggering stop-losses in fast, volatile moves. At least to me it seems much less painfull than before.
I agree, Sinbob, that we have reached a bottom here just before a tremendous trend change. It must be much easier to ride the trend up rather than down, when you are a bull by nature. What is interesting is, that whoever has not lived through all those ten years of bitter suffering, will never understand what is ahead. That will be our advantage. It is experience by doing.
What is ahead is the explosion of all energy that was blocked and kept down during 10 years, coming out at once and this time being supported by the (now) long Cartel.
I can't wait any longer.
