I was not able to watch all of it but tonight's Frontline program, which should be accessible on the internet, dealt with the inability or unwillingness of the F.B.I. and other enforcers to develop a criminal charge against any senior executive of any bank involved in the financial crisis. Despite having access to "hundreds of whistleblowers" who worked in the banks they claim that they can't come up with proof of "intent" sufficient to lay charges other than in civil court. Those responsible for developing the required evidence aren't very convincing in my opinion.
