Seems pretty clear that getting the US budget anywhere near balanced is going to be one tough job. They didn't even get close so far, and the fireworks are going to be spectacular come time to lift the budget ceiling in a couple of months.

It would seem a longshot that Congress has the will, or maybe even the way, to meaningfully stem the deficit or shrink the expanding debt.

Should be ideal for PM's; sooooo, let's see what actually happens.
