I should add that it is probably impossible for the US to avoid another credit downgrade such as happned in the summer of 2011. I very much doubt the US will ever again attain a triple A credit rating, they simply won't do the right thing as debt spending continues and a likely $21-22 trillion debt ceiling for late 2016.
