My point does not refer to Technical Analysis---it more pertains to the persistent effort by a seller(s) to prevent the stock from gaining additional momentum late yesterday. After watching the trading all day, I'm convinced that the short entity(ies) are still trying to "control" this stock.
An alternative viewpoint of yesterday's strength and high volume might be that the 4+ million short position is beginning to be covered (I sure would if it were mine). However, I find it hard to believe that 1.3 million shares would be sold into this strength by long sellers whom have been forced to exhibit immense patience with their position.
Already this morning with merely 15 minutes of trading, we are up another 11 cents on 58,000 shares. Therefore, the buyer(s) is evidently still around a second day.
