AUMN: Suspicious offer size (shorts?)

After a brief consolidation during the first hour this morning while gold/silver pulled back, AUMN rallied to $4.02 (+ 3 cents) with a maximum of 500 share offers at any moment. As the $4.02 price was taken out, the offer size at $4.03 jumped to over 10,000 shares.

I'm not trying to over emphasize these figures but it sure seems suspicious that a long entity wishing to liquidate some shares would throw up such a large "roadblock" just as the stock started to regain some momentum. My bet would be that this is an intentional cap by a "short" entity similar to the ones we frequently witnessed in ECU trading.
