To Whom It Concerns:
Can someone please expound on why this company continues to underperform, and over promise as far
as production is concerned. I'm an old ECU shareholder and was optimistic when Golden Minerals
took the company over. I saw that GM had plenty of cash on their books and no debt. Yet here we are
and the stock price continues to falter and the registered number of shares that are "short" ever
increases. It would be refreshing if the board was a bit more transparent with investors regarding
the need for capital to build out their projects. It seems to me that this latest offering was not fully
expected, and took some shareholders by surprise. It's almost as if, on a daily basis, the bids in the stock (and
potential investors) just disappear and the stock price just "drips" lower on 100 share lots. I realize that the company
is trying to focus their efforts on things they can conceivably control; their drive to produce as much product
as possible. But that goal seems futile if raiding entities continue their endless efforts to drive the stock
price to zero. Why not entertain the idea of completing a reverse stock split, or buy back shares from time to
time? A few more proactive steps might start to put the stock on a few more radars, and make the shorts feel
somewhat compelled to cover. I will wait until the next round of production numbers are announced, but if
the stock price trend continues, I (like others I'm afraid) will think seriously about taking my losses and diverting these
funds into other precious metal companies.
