Go listen to Egon von Greyurz on KWN, if you wanna hear about the end of the world! I think Egon makes some sense, but I just can't see what he sees coming, maybe because it's too awful to want to see.

You can't have your gold in a bank, or basically anywhere, if things get as bad as he implies, if anyone finds out you have any gold, you'd better have a few machine guns and a moat, too. And I'm really not clear how the physical will help you if things get so bad that banks are failing left and right. I'd like to make some money in pm's, but not have to witness the world in the predicament he sees coming.
