I liken us to a bunch of sunstruck guys wandering in the desert still seeking the elusive El Dorado. Doesn't look like July is much of a month for the market or for precious metals, which are not acting as the counterbalance many predicted, just more additional deadweight!

I've already started to see some sentiment shifting to August as the "big" month for precious metals - LOL, was it on King World News?

The US dollar is where you want your money - now that is a safe harbor! Another city in California filed BK yesterday (San Bernardino). There are many in pretty much the same boat - but fortunately, with US dollars, they can be rescued!

I don't understand why anyone would want greenbacks instead of gold, but guess what! Add this one to my lengthening list of things I don't understand.
