Daily flactuations mean little. This Greek election only means more of the same. So imho the pressure is not off nor is it temporary.
What we may be seeing is that the apprehension from the uncertainty of the election results is off, many were prepared for anti-bailout faction to win, plus there is some hope of stability for a while.

Per my previous posts on the subject, Greeks want their cake and eat it too.

They voted not to lose the privileges, what little remains of them. Sooner or later harsh austerity measures have to prevail plus monetary support from Europe will vane and the anti-bailout movement will have to implement further austerity measures. The bailouts can not withstand the strain from larger countries such as Spain as easily as they do with Greece.
Note that with every passing day there is less support for bailouts from Europe, and Germans being in the forefront, so leaders like Merkel will eventually have to adjust to the will of the people. France already voted in an anti-bailout government if I am reading things correctly.

You ask 'Why do you bother to rant?'

Well because I expect for the Euro to dip some more and if this is not enough to break the perverbial camel's back and cause the precious metals to soar then in one, or a few more years, the US dollar will certainly do the trick. ( I have been waiting already for over 5 years for that to happen, 5 years more is not out of the question.)

When it does happen silver and especially silver stocks will go through the roof, more so percentage wise this time than the PMs did around 1980.

DONTCRYFORME - The money 'withdrawn' form Greek accounts may not be moved in the common sense. My wife ie European and she has a Euro account. No need to take the cash elsewhere, she just converts and deposits in the Euro account. ( You are in Europe so you must know all of this and more.)
