Baba, I would rate Argentina in the second tier of South America investment locales with Brazil, Chile and Columbia being the best 3 countries down south. That having been stated there are many mining operations producing and in development in Argentina without any issue or concern of nationalization at this time. The oil issue is not related at all to mining and has it's own very unique set of circimstances. We should however be aware and watchfull which I'm sure the hundreds of active mining companies in Argentina are. BTW, I have some concern with changes ocurring to EPA and environmental approval issues on mining projects and oil/gas in the US and some in Canada but I wouldn't suggest yet that people not invest in either country.

I also note that Golden Minerlas has 4 or 5 key projects now and over 80 potential exploration properties in various Mexican and Soth American countries offering lots of option if required.
