SLX is very similar to the old ECU in many ways.
They have a small mill which was just becoming profitable.
They also have one of the highest AgOz/sh$ ratios in the silver industry...ie the LOWEST $price per ounce of silver in the ground.
They recently drilled very promising high grade areas.
Their huge potential was squeezed out of them by the cartel.
I'm lucky that my average buy in was around $.45 and I can say I made a profit...but this, like the AUM takeover of ECU, at ridiculously low prices per ounce is not what I had in mind when I purchased my SLX.
FR is a great company - I will keep my shares...but I'm still disappointed by the loss of potential by all SLX shareholders. It is another sad day for the little guy.
