Remember, we are in the Holiday season where the institutions are "reminded" to be gracious to USA investors and reward them with higher stock prices. At the same time, they have to make sure to punish the 1%'ers who hold gold/gold stocks. Just one of the many obstacles that have been thrown this way during this 10 year gold bull market. Once the party ends in a few days, the hangover takes over and gold can continue it's march higher.
