So this morning with much trepidation I went into my portfolio to assess the damages in Fiat from yesterday and was shocked to see the damage was minimal compared to my last check! Why? How? I mean AUM got killed yesterday! Well it seems that AUM which is by far my biggest purchase over the past 5 years is only a marginal influence on my total portfolio at this point. That massive drop is miniscule compared to the creaming I've been taking for years.

How bad is it? Well I keep hearing how this is like ECU at .45... but I disagree. ECU on it's own with all it's debt, marginal cash and a huge number of shares in issue at .45 is 9.00 AUM... but this is ECU & AUM, double the resources, with 85 million in cash, a much smaller number of shares in issue and a very bright future. So it's more like ECU at .20.

Yup .20. There is illogical trading and then there is totally ridiculous and outright illegal activity, I dare anyone to say that this is not the latter. HALF of trading recently was shorters... we all though they were completely crazy, but alas no... they were not as we then dropped nearly a quarter in a day and they made out like bandits. How did they know this? How do they always know? For years we have speculated on this question and as far as I know none of those who have invested in this company have become rich because of it thus far. Oh... except the shorts.

This isn't so much a rant about illegal activity (although I would like the new company to do something about this... at least a statement threatening legal actions) but a call to arms.

How do we rid ourselves of this elephant? I can only see two real things: get the news out and get the investors to far outweigh the shorters in volume. I for one am 'all in', but I sure as hell will be telling anyone that will listen (who isn’t already upset at me for the same advice previously) to get in on this and now. Anyone & I mean anyone who looks at this company through any kind of independent assessment would launch at the current price. I come from a Finance background... I have been an investor for years and there is nothing I have ever seen that looks like such a sure fire moneymaker. We need to get the word out... beyond our little borders in Agoracom. Ideas are very, very welcome.

Next... we need to apply serious pressure on the company to do something about this. They need to ensure that once they start the news releases, they do so in the loudest and most rat-a-tat-tat, shock-and-awe bombardment of positive news they can muster. Drill results, feasibility plans, 41-101's, commitments to build, drill plans etc. etc. Place a clear strategic multi-year plan out in front of the investment community - show them a clear timeline with clear plans of what AUM will look like in 2 years. I will write to them like a mad man, but again all ideas are welcome. How do we get the pressure on, how do we get heard? My job is a strategic consultant/ business analyst and my biggest complaint about this company thus far is the lack of a clearly stated vision, strategic goal and tactical delivery points.

This is not a time to 'piss and moan' about the lack of fairness in the markets. They are manipulating us, that is 100% sure. It is co-ordinate and purposeful. So we need co-operation and purpose to counter it folks. Otherwise we can all roll into a ball and hide in the corner for a few years until they tire of batting us around like a kitten with wool. Perhaps one idea is to band together into a collective 'union' of shareholders with a total shareholding value & speak as one. I would be more then happy to disclose who I am and what I hold if many others would do the same. We could then elect a speaking voice who could represent us clearly. I am sure we could easily band together to form a group, which represents at least 2% of company value.
