If according to Silverbulls post of yesterday, the shorts will automatically be transfered to AUM shorts at a rate of 20 to 1, this tells me that this merger is a mere trade/transfer of shares.

So if that's the case, then why would this transaction be deemed to be a disposition and create a capital gain?
