Just wait, the Cartel will pound the metals flat too when the CME announces another margin increase, probably within a day or so. This little spike in gold will not be allowed to run unopposed. And remember the PPT is standing by with a firehose of money to goose the DOW back up, but none of that slush fund will find its way into the PM stocks, so we will be stranded at the lows even when the 'recovery' lifts the rest of the market in a session or two.

I do fully expect there will be a mania in the mining stocks sometime down the road. I thought we would have seen it when gold broke out of the $1000 range, nonetheless it is coming. For now though the market is busy trying to recover from the last mania and is not looking ahead to the next one. This will change.

So I wait. The stress ball is getting a good workout today.
