My take on this investigation is it would be a crapshoot at best to find evidence against the culprits and then to have the exchange actually do anything. I also think that the merger is the focus right now and this issuing of new shares will force the covering of all stock. From what I have been told this must be done.

I think that there has been a concerted effort to force the stocks lower to facilitate covering at some point. this is easier to do with AUM and such a small float and light volume.

At some point the SP will recover with short covering providing much of that. That is all contingent on the merger going thru. If not then the shorts win again...even bigger.
