Suggest the U.S. as a republic lost its way, at least as far back as 1913 and maybe even earlier.

In 1963 it had the opportunity to take the Warren commision's decision to task, but it failed.

In 1971 it had the opportunity to step in and reverse Nixon's decision re: Abolishing the gold standard, but it failed.

Etc. etc. etc.

Right up to 2002 when the commision on 9/11 should have been questioned, but again "The Republic" failed.

Soory hobbers, but "The Republic" has not served Americans well.
